Message for An Era of Conscience

It is encouraging that during a time of turbulence and uneasiness in the world there is a movement to bring about good intentions and generate positive energy. I along with my family will take part in An Era of Conscience by making wise and heartfelt decisions that will promote good deeds that will benefit people throughout the world. Through our actions we will spread messages of goodness and promote good and everlasting deeds that benefit our city, its residents and ultimately, the world.

It is true that an anxious and awkward moment or an unkind word can negatively impact a person's psyche; whereas a kind and thoughtflt1moment can elevate the sprit and make one's sense of self soar to new heights.

It is always my prayer that all the nations and peoples of the world will be at and live in peace. That together, we will do everything possible to safeguard the human rights and dignity of all people and living things on this planet and protect our planet as a whole. In my prayer, I ask our Lord to give us the compassion and intelligence to cease our greed, hatred and fear; and instead open our hearts to each other, sharing our resources so that famine, homelessness, disease, malnutrition, lack of education, lack of opportunity are forever eradicated. And I pray that all people of the world can live in freedom, without fear of persecution, oppression, tyranny or war. And, that in this generation we can stop the bloody cycles of our human history and use our knowledge to make better choices.

In this, the Era of Conscience, through our collective efforts and positive thoughts, actions and prayers we can truly make a difference that will bring about a world in harmony and peace for all nations and peoples of the world. These efforts will and can restore inner peace to us and respect for human rights and the value of others.
